About KSCA Baroda

Karelibaug Sports and Cultural Association was established with a view to promote sports and cultural activities. There are many citizens, especially youngsters in every locality who have within themselves many inbuilt talents and potentials in the field of art, sports, literature and extra curricular activities. These talents were normally not supported because of lack of social support, infrastructural facilities, financial resources and various other reasons. Keeping this view in mind, Karelibaug Sports and Cultural Association took initiative in bringing together all these talents and assisted them in presenting talent on a forum.

For the last twelve years, KSCA has been organizing " All Gujarat Tennis Cricket Tournament " at Baroda. The consecutive tournament named "Novino Gold Cup", "Republic Cup", "Millennium Cup", "Friendship Cup", "Baroda Cup", "C.H.Jewellers Cup" etc have yielded an encouraging response as well as support from the residents of the locality and also the outsides, specially form the corporate sector. We have also organized "Karelibaug Samuh Garba Mahotsav" since the last 20 years and "All Baroda Inter School Cricket Tournament" since the last 6 years. KSCA is having a viewership of 25,000 - 30,000 spectators at each event and it provides each player with an exclusive sports uniform for all the matches.

Karelibaug Sports and Cultural Association has prepared indeed a professional ground and pitch for the tournament. There is a provision for in STADIA ADVERTISING. As the ground is an absolutely circular one, all the banners can be visible from each and every corner of the ground and will gain a long mileage. We earnestly solicit your esteemed and generous contribution to the success of the tournament by extending your organizations bannered advertisement to be displayed at our ground. Our Mission is to provide quality coaching and sports facilities for any individual or team wanting to experience and learn the skills of sports and its unique cultures in a variety of different area with creating space for cultural activity for talented youngsters through academy, various tournament and mahotsav of festivals. Further help create a high quality cultural environment that offers appealing experiences to the city's diverse population and which encourages people to participate in making, presenting, and preserving the culture of their community; Act as a liaison to businesses, schools, foundations, media and government;Provide a forum for coordination of cultural activity, including networking of resources and production of promotional materials;Offer technical assistance on cultural matters to individuals and organizations at villages.

Our vision is dedicated to facilitating individuals and masses to expose more, and we are passionate about introducing the sports & Cultural activity to every villages in which it isn't presently played with affordable and accessible mode for national & international events.

AIMS of KSCA

To promote the game of cricket and sport as a valuable cultural and multifarious force within the community and the country.
To provide State-of-the Art Sports Infrastructure and high quality training facilities for cricket.
To ensure that the value systems and basic techniques taught in all the projects promoted by the KSCA are one and the same.
To raise the technical competence of sports coaching and umpiring by means of workshops and clinics conducted by professionals.
To provide scholarships for talented student in the Age Group categories of under 14/16/19 for sports & Cultural activity.
Provide the Platform nationally & internationally for all cultural activity to talented child.

Future Plans

KSCA BARODA has done very well in sports activities specially CRICKET and also in cultural activities like GARBA MAHOTSAV. KSCA BARODA is well known in all over Vadodara and now planning to go in backward/tribe areas of Vadodara like waghodia, ajwa, padra, etc. to give young talented people a platform to show their caliber. KSCA BARODA is looking forward to organize various other kinds of sports indoor & outdoor like chess, skating, karate, volleyball, basketball, football,kabbadi etc. so that people and specially teenagers can get a variety of fields to stand ahead in life. We are now collaborated with BALBHAVAN the famous cricket tournament organize and now planning to organize a state level tournament & Zaveri League. We are also involved in other sports activities like volley ball tournament. In Vadodara we are having many groups of young, middle aged and specially senior citizens who are having very good grip in volley ball sport and by organizing this tournament we can give people of every age an opportunity to show their skills. Also KSCA BARODA is involved in indoor sports like chess, pool games, snooker, etc. KSCA will provide development programmes for individuals, groups and teams Address skill development, fitness, relaxation techniques (yoga) Offer the latest technical developments via motion capture & analysis Structure coaching, matches, tournaments and interaction with the local players KSCA BARODA further plans to establish academy for cricket & all other sports activity to enhance talents in the child for better platform nationally & internationally. KSCA wants to start academy with automised equipment & facility for improvement in talents of mass who cannot efforts individually to proceeds. KSCA Baroda wants to establish small academy at villages which gives platform in cultural & sports activity of school children.
